Abstract

Parsonage Turner Syndrome (PTS), also known as Neuralgic Amyotrophy or Brachial Neuritis, is an idiopathic rare condition associated with paresis of the upper extremity. The incidence is about 1.64 cases per 10,000 people and is predominantly seen in men. The syndrome is characterized by abrupt pain arising from the shoulder girdle lasting about 3 to 4 weeks, followed by weakness and muscle wasting, which can last several months before variable recovery. Here we report a case of PTS in a 41-year-old male patient following administration of the ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 Corona Virus Vaccine.
